Ranking Appeals
An appeal reviews source data and rule application. It is not a way to purchase or negotiate a position.
What may be appealed
- Incorrect company, headquarters, service, platform, or industry data
- Incorrect qualifying-review counts or geographic eligibility
- A review verification, dispute, rejection, or removal decision
- A score, tie-break, snapshot, or methodology-version calculation error
- An undisclosed conflict or unauthorized manual adjustment
How review works
Submit the affected URL, disputed fact, requested correction, and supporting source through the profile report or account review tools. Staff record the appeal, evidence, decision, reason, and date. The original moderator should not decide an appeal when a conflict exists.
Accepted data changes are applied to the source record. Ranking changes appear after a new snapshot is calculated. Historical snapshots are not silently rewritten.
Urgent issues
Privacy, impersonation, legal, or active fraud concerns should be identified clearly in the report so they can be prioritized. Private evidence must not be posted publicly.
