Conflicts of Interest Policy
Ranking independence
Companies cannot buy ranking positions. Advertising, lead participation, profile claims, responses, and commercial relationships must not alter the published scoring rules or geographic eligibility.
Required disclosure
If the site operator, owners, employees, developers, or affiliates have an ownership, operating, financial, or management relationship with a ranked company, the accurate relationship must be disclosed on that company profile and relevant ranking entries—not only in legal terms.
The disclosure must state that the ranking is calculated under the same published review and scoring rules. We do not publish a relationship disclosure unless the relationship is supported by operator records.
Administrative safeguards
Staff with a material conflict should recuse themselves from verification, appeals, and discretionary corrections involving that company. Manual ranking adjustments require a reason, audit record, review date, and public disclosure when appropriate. The platform does not provide an unexplained control for assigning a company the number-one position.
